Customer expectation for continual improvements in product and service performance require robust quality planning systems to be in place to deliver results. ASIMCO Technologies' Project Management systems follow Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) procedures; these can be tailored to meet customers' specific requirements including Gateway Reviews or Milestone Work Packages.

At an early stage a Project Manager (PM) is assigned to work on a customer program. The PM is the link person working directly with the customer and the US or European operations. One of the first PM tasks is to draft a Statement of Requirements (SOR) to the customer; this is agreed to the PM and relevant management team at both the manufacturing facility and US/European operations and can include customer signatories. This document is a charter for the program and outlines all key activities and deliverables. From the first phase of the program through to delivery, the customer is kept informed of all key deliverables. Customer program reviews are undertaken to ensure the smooth running of the program schedule.
