Mr. Bob Iwata joined ASIMCO as Vice President and Chief Representative (Japan) in August, 2006.

Before joining the company, Bob worked for Nippon Piston Ring Co., Ltd. (NPR) for 41 years after graduating from Waseda University in 1965.

Bob began his career as a production control officer in the NPR facility in Japan and then served for NPR of America Inc. (100% owned by NPR) three separate times as head of the company for a period of 14 years, engaging in developing the OE and aftermarket sectors.  Bob achieved outstanding success in increasing sales to the components aftermarket and engine rebuild market in the USA.

Bob returned to NPR's head office in Japan and was promoted to Managing Director and Member of the Board where he was responsible for the Engineering, International Sales, International Business Promotion and Corporate Planning divisions and was credited with greatly expanding NPR's international businesses.

Bob brings substantial experience in Sales & Marketing in the OE & aftermarket sectors as well as strong business relationships in Japan, USA and Europe which will enable him to contribute effectively to ASIMCO's global expansion.
