ASIMCO Management Supervisory Board (“The Supervisory Board”) was officially founded in September, 2008 and its first meeting was held on September 19th and 20th.  The Supervisory Board aims to assist the CEO in defining group business strategy and key resources needed to implement the strategy.  Also, the Supervisory Board will assist General Managers in deployment of group business strategy. 

All major management decisions and strategy will be discussed with and approved by ASIMCO Management Supervisory Board. The Board will conduct regularly meeting to assess current performance, review and prepare strategic plans and annual operating plans.  The Supervisory Board is also responsible for major capital projects’ approval and management development plans’ review. 

The Supervisory Board is currently composed of ten members with various background, including the CEO, all ASIMCO Vice Presidents and three representatives of operating companies’ General Managers, which are Mr. Fan Jiang, GM of ASIMCO Nanyue, Mr. Wu Yingxue, GM of ASIMCO Shuanghuan and Mr. Steven Cao, GM of ASIMCO Shanxi.  It is vital to have representatives of General Managers joining the Supervisory Board to participate in the discussion and decision making.

First of all, General Managers hold the first-hand information and has better understanding to the market and customers.  Undoubtedly, they could provide the up-to-date and valuable suggestions and opinions to the Management as they work at the factory on daily basis and work closely with the market and customers.  Secondly, their involvement in the discussion and decision making of the Group major issues and projects would help them to better understand the Group strategy and to implement it in the factory actively.  In addition, the participation in the ASIMCO management is not only the demonstration of their capabilities, but also an honor in their career.  Representatives of General Managers will be reviewed once a year for reappointment or renewal.

At the first meeting, all members deeply involved in the discussion on group strategy and future direction of our current business, contributed and shared opinions openly and frankly with each other.  All members also reached consensus on rules and responsibilities of ASIMCO Management Supervisory Board.
