ASIMCO Technologies Limited ("ASIMCO Technologies" or the "Company"), one of the largest independent producers of automotive components in China, today announced Dr. Lee Liu has joined the Company as Vice President of Product Engineering. In this position, Dr. Lee Liu will report to Gary Riley, President and CEO, and he will be based in Beijing.
Prior to joining ASIMCO, Dr. Liu was Director of Product Management & Development of Wabco Vehicle Control Systems, a $3 billion global provider of products and technologies for heavy duty commercial vehicles. He began his professional career at Ford Motor Company in the US and also spent three years with Richardo UK Limited as Business Development & Marketing Director.
"Lee is a highly educated and talented individual with global operation experiences and exposure in the automotive industry, and we are delighted to have him as part of the ASIMCO Technologies senior management team," Gary Riley said. Dr. Lee received his PhD. of Mechanical & Control Engineering at University of Oklahoma in 1994, and he is an active Registered Professional Engineer (US) and a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt from the Ford Motor Company.
