ASIMCO Technologies is a leading supplier of starters and alternators to both the light and heavy duty markets in China.  The facility producing starters and alternators is located in Jingzhou, Hubei province and has an annual capacity for 1.9 million starters and 300,000 alternators.  To strengthen its product development, the factory established a provincial-level research and development center with Huazhong University of Science and Technology.  The multi-function R&D center is capable of conducting testing requirements for environment, vibration, temperature and durability.  The factory has developed a new planetary gear reduction starter for the China heavy duty diesel engine market.  With an annual capacity over 300,000 sets, the new model starter is smaller and lighter and has a higher output to weight ratio than starters using traditional technology.  Furthermore, the stop/start starter is also being developed.

ASIMCO Technologies manufactures a broad range of starters and alternators and supplies leading domestic and international customers, such as FAW-VW, Shanghai-VW, Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen, Cummins, Foton, Chery, Geely and GM.  ASIMCO Technologies also  supplies to many of China’s leading diesel engine manufacturers including Yulin Diesel, Wuxi Diesel, Dalian Diesel, Tianjin Perkins, First Tractor and Chaoyang Diesel.

The factory has been moved to its new facility in the Jingzhou Economic Development Zone in 2008 and is striving for further expansion for its strong growth and future customer projects.
