The air compressor is a key component in the air brake system for commercial vehicles such as trucks and buses.  Located in Langfang, Hebei Province, the ASIMCO’s factory has over 20 years of experience in design and production of compressors and has the world-class compressor NC function and durability test bench.  With the design capability of more than 400 types, the facility produces over 800,000 compressors per year for the China market and has an estimated 45% share of the OEM market.  Its key customers are Dongfeng, Weifang Diesel, Cummins, Yulin Diesel, Shanghai Diesel, Dalian Diesel, Chaoyang Diesel and Lovol, etc. In terms of units produced, ASIMCO Technologies is one of the largest manufacturers in the world.

In 2004, ASIMCO Technologies entered into a technology agreement with Haldex Corporation to develop a new twin-cylinder compressor for the global market.  To produce the twin-cylinder model, ASIMCO Technologies built a new assembly facility in Langfang, featuring a clean room assembly line, with capacity to manufacture 100,000 compressors per year.
