Scholarship Fund Introduction

The ASIMCO Technologies Kevin Li Scholarship Fund was created to commemorate Mr. Kevin Li and his significant contributions to the ASIMCO organization as the first Chief Technology Officer of the company.  The Scholarship Fund will provide assistance to eligible children of ASIMCO employees to help them pursue their scholastic dreams.  The Scholarship places strong emphasis on the study in the disciplines of science, engineering and technology.  It is designed to encourage study in these areas and to better prepare ASIMCO’s young people to devote themselves to the development of future technologies.

Eligibility 

The ASIMCO Kevin Li Scholarship Fund is open to all those who meet the following criteria:

• The applicant must be a child whose parent is legally registered and is a full-time employee of ASIMCO Technologies.  The Scholarship Fund is open to the children of all headquarter and operating company personnel who have been with the company for more than THREE years as of August 20th every year.

• The applicant must be newly graduated from high school and enrolled in a full-time graduate course of study in an accredited university. An offer or Enrollment Notice from a university is required.

• The applicant must be major in University in either science, engineering or technology.

Application & Selection  Process

Interested and eligible applicants need to complete an application form and submit it to the Human Resources Department of the operating company at which her/his parent(s) is working no later than August 20th of each year.

The Human Resources Department at each Operating Company will be responsible for the initial screening and submit one or two top applicants to the Human Resources Department in headquarters by August 31st of each year.  This department will in turn submit the applications to the ASIMCO Technologies Kevin Li Scholarship Fund Committee for review and the final decision.

Each year FIVE (5) recipients will be selected. 

The Human Resources Department in headquarters will announce the recipients in mid September of each year.

Awards

If selected as a recipient, the student will receive the first year’s tuition to the University up to a maximum of US$5,000.  Payment will be made for the actual tuition cost (provided it does not exceed US$5,000) no later than September 30th.

Obligations 

The recipient has no obligation to ASIMCO Technologies Limited.  The recipient is required to notify the Human Resources Department in headquarters of any change of college or university.

Revisions

ASIMCO Technologies Limited reserves the right to review the conditions and procedures of this scholarship program and to make changes at any time including the termination of the Scholarship Fund.
