Producing over 150 million piston rings per year, ASIMCO Technologies is one of the largest specialized piston ring producers in China and has ranked the first in the industry for consecutive 22 years.  The CYPR-branded piston rings have been applied to a wide range vehicle including light, medium and heavy duty commercial vehicles, passenger cars, motorcycles and engineering machinery, accounting for more than 25% of the domestic market share.  Its diesel engine piston rings hold more than 40% market share.  Located in Yizheng, Jiangsu Province, the factory supplies its products to over 90% of the domestic OEMs.     .

With engine test benches and friction and wear testing facilities, the factory’s strong engineering team has self-development and design capability.  In order to fill the gap in the field at home, the factory successfully developed the technology of Chrome Composite Coating, which reduces 50% of friction compared with the hard chrome material and reached the international technology level.  This technology has gained the national patent and become a priority choice of surface treatment of diesel piston ring for Euro III and Euro IV applications.

With the advanced technologies and the consistent quality, ASIMCO Technologies not only supplies to China’s leading OEMs, but also export to over 30 countries and regions including the U.S., Japan and Korean and has successfully established strategic cooperations with international leading diesel engine manufacturers, such as Peugeot Citroen, Cummins, Doosan, NPR, Hino and Federal Mogul.
