In 2004, ASIMCO Technologies produced 665,000 air compressors (for use in the air brake systems of trucks and buses) for the China market.  In terms of OE (original equipment) sales, the Company has an approximate 80% market share of the China market, and in terms of units produced, ASIMCO Technologies is one of the largest manufacturers in the world.

Building on its leadership position in China, the Company has now partnered with Haldex Corporation, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden and listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, to deliver its new Haldex designed twin-cylinder compressors to the global market.  Haldex will provide ASIMCO Technologies with updated compressor technology, which ASIMCO Technologies may use in the China market.  Through this global manufacturing, sales and distribution partnership, ASIMCO Technologies manufactures the compressors while Haldex provides sales, distribution and aftermarket support globally.   This agreement has led to Haldex and ASIMCO Technologies becoming the sole supplier of compressors to a major global engine manufacturer for their North American production.
