A workgroup of nine technicians and sales personnel from ASIMCO HQ, ASIMCO Shanxi, ASIMCO Camshaft, ASIMCO Shuanghuan and ASIMCO Anhui visited CAMC at the beginning of July 2021.

The visiting team was warmly welcomed by the leaders of CAMC and its engine business. As China’s largest heavy-duty truck manufacturer, CAMC Heavy Truck recorded an operating income of RMB 20 billion last year, and secured a share of 30% in domestic new energy heavy-duty truck market. In the future, the engines business will focus on the development of methanol fuel engines and extended-range powertrain system, accelerate the R&D of “battery-swapping” electric trucks, and foster the research of "smart driving" and "unmanned driving".

CAMC is one of the important clients for ASIMCO Group. ASIMCO Shanxi, ASIMCO Camshaft and ASIMCO Shuanghuan are all its suppliers. CAMC has a very good impression of ASIMCO Group, especially of its three operating companies’ product service. Now these companies have all been involved in the development of new products.

CAMC expects much of TVD product to be provided by ASIMCO Anhui and hopes the latter to quicken its R&D work so that the new charms are added to the ASIMCO-CAMC partnership.
